New York Happenings

Here are some pictures of our first two weeks in New York. As a side note, we've been here two weeks. BUT last night I was so delusional from hunger and exhaustion (I had moved the majority of our stuff out of our storage unit, into a van, in the sun. Ugh!) that when Forrest and I got back to our apartment, I said "Congratulations on finishing your first week of work!" He just looked and me, smiled and raised an eyebrow, and said "Uh, do you mean my second week of work?"  "Or that." We got dinner shortly after that.

Baby Goose and Mama Goose. Very cute. There were some teenage geese in the area, and I've concluded that most 'teenage' things are typically ten kinds of awkward.

I can't figure out how to rotate this... but this it the exterior of where we're moving into tomorrow! We're super excited about it! It's a restored textile mill, built in the 1800's. When it was opened, it was the larget in the world! The company that did the preservation/restoration left as much original material as possible, including the hardwood floors.
