In an interesting turn of events, I was offered a job this morning by Vicarious Visions - the company that Forrest works for.
I interviewed with them yesterday for hours and was made an offer today, and will likely start Monday if all the paperwork can get squared away soon. I'm a mix of front desk receptionist and office coordinator, the latter as my official title.
huh.
I guess I'm still in shock about interviewing and getting offered a job so quickly. I'm sure Monday will be a welcomed change to the current inactivity.
oh - and the best part - no suit required. I can wear much chucks into work. Yes please!
